About Jemco

Retail technology, judged from the sales floor.

Jemco exists because we needed electronic shelf labels in our own stores—and discovered that buying hardware was only a fraction of the actual job.

Why we built Jemco

The ESL system we wanted didn’t exist. So we built it.

When we first looked at electronic shelf labels for our own stores, the hardware already existed. What was missing was a system that felt straightforward in an actual retail operation.

So we built the software and workflows exactly the way we wanted them: pricing that follows the POS automatically, ultra-fast two-scan tag assignment, clear visibility across locations, and a system that is easy for a store’s existing retail team to learn, install, and operate—no technical staff required.

The result is ESLs that work the way we always thought they should—easy to install, intuitive to operate, and fast at scale.

What that changes

Built for retailer installation.

01

Start with the software

The POS connection and item data need to be right before thousands of labels are attached to shelves.

02

Make installation manageable

Product-to-tag matching is straightforward enough for a retailer’s own team to perform without an onsite installation crew.

03

Be available when needed

Phone and video support make it possible to talk even nontechnical employees through unfamiliar or difficult steps.
